Angel Bones is garage blues in a literal sense. Conceived and recorded in a suburban garage, these stripped down recordings place the accent on gritty, down to earth songs with a rootsy blues feel. Songs of angels and devils, birth and death, love and ambivalence, and the blurred lines between them all. Songs for grumpy old men, children, and lovers.
